Abigayle Rettman

Abigayle Rettman is one of the newest members of the ACE team and already a valued contributor. A Billerica resident and current UMass Lowell student, Abigayle brings a calm, thoughtful presence to our community. She tutors in ELA, where her patience, clarity, and steady support have helped students grow in both skill and confidence. Outside of ACE, Abigayle works at Shine in Math Academy, further reflecting her commitment to education and helping young learners succeed. When she’s not studying or supporting students, she enjoys reading and spending time with friends. We’re grateful to have Abigayle on our team. Her kindness, reliability, and dedication shine through in all she does.

Dominique Joavil

Dominique Joavil lives in Dracut, MA, and brings creativity, focus, and enthusiasm to the ACE community. She enjoys reading, writing, and scrapbooking interests that reflect her thoughtful and imaginative nature. Currently a student at UMass Lowell studying International Relations, Dominique brings that global perspective into her work with students. She loves teaching and incorporates her creativity into her teaching style, making lessons engaging and enjoyable. Her warm personality and innovative approach make her a wonderful addition to the ACE team.

Rena McFall

Meet Rena McFall, one of the creative forces behind the ACE Center’s visual storytelling. Rena is from Attleboro, MA, and brings a vibrant mix of passions to our community from playing volleyball to diving into her favorite video games. Her energy, curiosity, and creativity shine through in everything she does. Currently, Rena is a Political Science major at UMass Lowell. Alongside her studies, she works as a part‑time employee at UMass Lowell, balancing academics and professional growth with impressive dedication. At the ACE Center, Rena serves as a photographer, videographer, and video editor. She has a gift for capturing the moments that matter, turning events into memories and transforming everyday interactions into meaningful stories. Through her lens, she helps amplify voices that often go unheard, bringing emotion, authenticity, and connection to every project. Her work doesn’t just document our community, it celebrates it. Her creativity helps us share stories, spark joy, and make people feel seen. We’re grateful to have Rena on our team, and we can’t wait to see the stories she continues to bring to life.

Ken Asare-Boafo

Ken Asare-Boafo is a senior Political Science student at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, specializing in American Politics and expected to graduate in 2026. He is an organized and motivated student with strong interests in public service, policy, and international affairs. Ken has gained professional experience through customer service and management roles at Dunkin’, Boston Market, KFC, Taco Bell, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and Ayisi Deadstock, where he developed leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. He currently serves as an intern supporting asylum filing processes, managing client databases, and assisting with after-school programming, strengthening his experience in community-based work and administrative support. His academic projects include research on climate change as a social issue and the history of populism in Germany. Ken is proficient in Microsoft Office, holds Human Research certification through the CITI Program, and speaks conversational French. He is committed to advancing meaningful work in public service and community engagement.
