Financial Literacy for Newcomers – Batch 1, 2026
The ACE Center for New Americans successfully concluded Financial Literacy for Newcomers (Batch 1) on January 30, 2026, at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The program welcomed 21 participants representing seven countries Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China, Iran, Myanmar, Nepal and South Korea. Participants included a diverse mix of international students, newly arrived immigrants, and refugees, reflecting the rich multicultural fabric of our community.
The program covered essential financial topics designed to support long-term stability and independence, including budgeting, banking fundamentals, understanding credit reports and credit scores, and the basics of home buying.
ACE Center for New Americans is grateful to the participants, facilitators, and partners who made this milestone possible, and looks forward to, Financial Literacy for Newcomers (Batch 2) which is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026. Stay tuned for more details.
